Im Jahr 1655 bildete die Peisserbrücke beim alten Albergo Peisser die Nordgrenze des Territoriums des Fürstbistums Brixen. Hier wurde Königin Christina von Schweden während ihrer Reise nach Rom von Fürstbischof Anton Crosini und seinem Gefolge empfangen. Sowohl die Brücke über den Eisack als auch das Gasthaus sind noch vorhanden, obwohl das Gasthaus außer Betrieb ist.
