The Conchez-de-Béarn mill is located below this small village between Lembeye and Garlin, in the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh vineyards.
The heir millers, from father to daughter, will show you how a water mill works, with a visit to the dyke (300 m away) that feeds the mill canal, and the various stages of production: from sowing their wheat to grinding it on granite millstones powered by their water mill. This cultural heritage site, steeped in history, will take you back in time, from the time of the Seigneurs to the present day.
Plus: the mill is located on a farm with lots of animals (chickens, rabbits, ducks, sheep, etc.). Activities, exhibitions? Sale of flour for pastries, bread? By appointment only.
