Uelvesbüll, vista sulla baia di Husum: L'insediamento sparso si trova sulla costa nord della penisola di Eiderstedt, lungo il fiume Heverstrom. Numerose maree di tempesta hanno fatto sì che nel corso degli 800 anni di storia del luogo il paesaggio cambiasse continuamente. La chiesa fu costruita nel 1854 come sostituzione di un edificio precedente risalente all'anno 1300, distrutto da una mareggiata.
