Withuis

Withuis è un bel nucleo composto da edifici a nastro, dove un tempo si trovava il valico ufficiale di frontiera tra Paesi Bassi e Belgio. Qui troverete ancora tracce di uffici doganali, un garage, la stazione di servizio Caltex del 1953 progettata dall'architetto Schinkel e attività di ristorazione. Notevole è anche il grande numero di edifici monumentali che furono tutti costruiti nella prima metà del XIX secolo per volere di Jan Pieter Nolens. È ancora l'“ingresso” di Eijsden proveniente dal Belgio.
