Description

Mit seinen sechs Metern Höhe zeugt das Kreuz auf dem Marktplatz von Le Malzieu von der Macht des Marktfleckens im 14. Jahrhundert. Das Vorhandensein einer gehackten Hand im oberen Teil des Schaftes auf der Ostseite zeugt ebenfalls von der Bestimmung dieses Monuments als Justizkreuz der Barone von Merc?ur. Das Kreuz könnte aus dem 14. Jahrhundert stammen, doch gibt es keine Hinweise, die dies belegen.
