A Ostende, la nova llotja del peix està operativa des del 2019 amb una superfície de 5.000 metres quadrats. Bona part de la mina -que es va construir després de la Segona Guerra Mundial- va ser enderrocada, però es va conservar la façana històrica.
La subhasta de peix flamenca vol subhastar un total de 17.000 tones de peix cada any, repartides entre els llocs de Zeebrugge i Ostende. Això genera una facturació d'aproximadament 67 milions d'euros (2019).
