Description

Aquest cementiri, que es va obrir l'any 1923, conté les tombes de 1.200 soldats francesos que van caure durant els combats de 1914.

El monument de l'Assaut (a la part posterior), obra d'Alexandre Daoust, representa la reconquesta de la ciutadella pels francesos el 15 d'agost de 1914. Més concretament, està dedicat al sergent major Bouchez que va capturar la bandera alemanya sobrevolant el ciutadella.
