El pantà de Tavascan és un embassament que pertany al riu Noguera Pallaresa, creat per una presa situada a la població de Tavascan dins el municipi de Lladorre, a la comarca del Pallars Sobirà.
Juntament amb el pantà de Graus formen el complex hidràulic de l'alt Cardós. El funcionament d'aquest està totalment automatitzat i teledirigit des de la central de comandament de FECSA/ENDESA a Lleida, des d'on s'obren i tanquen les vàlvules i comportes, per regular l'aigua que farà moure les corresponents turbines. A les centrals no hi ha cap operari de forma permanent.
