Anomenada la torre de l’Ajuntament de Neptú, Déu romà del Mar. Tot va començar al segle XIV quan es va construir una sala on està avui aquest edifici, aleshores l’antic ajuntament situat al costat de Dikke Toren va ser substituït. Però no va ser fins a mitjans del segle XVI que es va decidir ampliar l’edifici. Es va erigir la torre octogonal d’estil renaixentista amb l’estàtua de Neptú al capdavant. En aquella època amb la nova construcció d’aquest edifici van aparèixer els bodes de luxe. Encara que sembla un edifici simple, és ric en arts decoratives encara que sense excés. Avui en dia hi ha el Museu Municipal que explica la història de la ciutat de Zierikzee.
