Den ældste tilbageværende del af den tidlige 1200-tals benediktinerkloster er den gotiske spidsbueport ved Minneveldsgade. Den indeholder stadig den oprindelige egebeslagte adgangsport, beskyttet med smedejernsbånd og søm. Sandstenportbygningen blev udvidet og ombygget i mursten i det 18. århundrede og muligvis også i det 19. århundrede. I det 19. århundrede blev den i en periode brugt som rådhus. I klosteret blev det berømte 'Charter of Kortenberg' underskrevet af hertug Jan II i 1312.
