Rådhuset i Charleroi, indviet i 1936, er en monumental klassisk bygning med Art déco-elementer, takket være sine geometriske linjer og materialernes leg: røde og sorte marmor, bronze, messing, smedet jern.
Indenfor er der mange statuer, som har til formål at ophøje byens triumf, dens velstand og industrielle rigdom. Kun kommunens rådssal indeholder et maleri i syv paneler, som suppleres af syv glasmosaikker med våbenskjoldene fra kantonerne i Charleroi-distriktet.
Som et mesterværk af civilarkitektur har rådhusets klokketårn sin plads på UNESCO's Verdensarvsliste.
