Ifølge J. Verbesselt en villa nova-stiftelse, den såkaldte Curtis de Hoxdonck, fra begyndelsen af det 13. århundrede, hvis udbygning omkring 1250 blev overdraget til Kortenberg-klosteret (se kommuneindledning). I sin nuværende form er det en voldgrav 18. århundredes kompleks af L-formede, forankrede murstenbygninger, som for nylig er blevet afskallet. Mod gaden bredt hus under saddeltag (mekaniske tagsten) med en listefacade på fem travéer og ét etage på en sandsten sokkel; årsten 1718 i midtravéen; tilpassede rektangulære vinduer, rundbue-døre og trapdækkede vinduer.
