Laut J. Verbesselt eine Villa Nova-Stiftung, die sogenannte Curtis de Hoxdonck, aus dem frühen 13. Jahrhundert, deren Ausbau um 1250 dem Kloster Kortenberg anvertraut wurde (siehe Gemeindeeinleitung). In seiner heutigen Form handelt es sich um ein von einem Wassergraben umgebenes, aus L-förmig angelegten, verankerten Backsteinbauten bestehendes 18. Jahrhundert-Komplex, das kürzlich entblößt wurde. An der Straßenseite ein breites Haus unter einem Satteldach (mechanische Ziegel) mit einer Giebelwand von fünf Achsen und einem Geschoss auf einem Sandsteinsockel; Jahresstein 1718 in der mittleren Achse; angepasste rechteckige Fenster, Rundbogen-Türen und gestufte Dachfenster.
