Según J. Verbesselt, una fundación villa nova, la llamada Curtis de Hoxdonck, del principio del siglo XIII, cuya ampliación fue encomendada alrededor de 1250 a la abadía de Kortenberg (ver introducción del municipio). En su forma actual, un complejo del siglo XVIII, amurallado, de edificios de ladrillo anclados en forma de L, recientemente descapado. A la calle, una casa ancha bajo un tejado a dos aguas (tejas mecánicas) con fachada de cinco tramos y una planta sobre un zócalo de arenisca; piedra del año 1718 en el tramo central; ventanas rectangulares adaptadas, puertas de arco y ventanas en el tejado en forma escalonada.
