Lokationen omfatter sandflader, der stadig er lidt forstyrret af vegetation, et vådt område bestående af forskellige kær og skråninger, der er mere eller mindre skovdækkede, afhængigt af stederne. Den nuværende interesse er især entomologisk af natur (sabulicole entomofauna).
