La ubicación incluye llanuras de arena que han sido poco alteradas por la vegetación, un área húmeda que consiste en diferentes charcas y laderas que están más o menos arboladas, dependiendo de los lugares. El interés actual es principalmente de naturaleza entomológica (entomofauna sabulícola).
