Großzschocher er en bydel i den sydvestlige del af Leipzig. Efter sammenslutningen med Windorf i 1897 opstod kommunen Großzschocher-Windorf, som i 1922 blev indlemmet i Leipzig. Großzschocher ligger ved den Hvide Elster. Den administrative bydel Großzschocher, der også omfatter bydelene Lauer, Mark Flickert, Windorf og dele af Knauthain, tilhører bydelen Sydvest.
Omkring 1450 havde Großzschocher stor betydning i Leipzigs omgivelser, og havde derfor nogle udgifter. Stedet tilhørte indtil 1856 det kursaksiske henholdsvis kongelige saksiske kredsamt Leipzig. I 1571 blev en stor del af landsbyen ødelagt efter et lynnedslag.
