Dæmningen Pöhl er den næststørste dæmning i Sachsen hvad angår størrelsen af opbevaringsrummet og den tredjestørste dæmning hvad angår højden af den dæmningsbygning der hviler på fundamentet samt vandarealet. Dæmningen tjener til oversvømmelsessikring, forsyning af procesvand, forhøjelse af lavvande, energiproduktion og fritidsaktiviteter.
Dæmningen Pöhl er en buet vægtdæmning af beton. Dæmningen blev bygget mellem 1958 og 1964 nær Jocketa i Vogtland. Dæmningen har fået sit navn fra byen Pöhl, som nu ligger under vand. Faktisk fungerer den undervandsby som en dykkerattraktion. Det opsamlede vand, Trieb, er en biflod til den hvide Elster.
