Kervenheim danner sammen med Kervendonk en bydel i byen Kevelaer, Kreis Kleve med cirka 2200 indbyggere. Kervenheim havde oprindeligt byretter, som allerede dokumenteret kan spores tilbage til år 1322, men som gik tabt igen i den napoleoniske tid. Stedet havde oprindeligt kun et areal på 11 ha, som senere blev udvidet til 45 ha gennem afståelser fra landsbyen Kervendonk. Den nuværende by Kervenheim har et areal på 15,55 km².
