Bygningen af det Episкопale Palads rejses på Bispepladsen meget tæt på Malaga-katedralen, og den blev bygget i bispen José Franquis Lasso de Castilla's tid fra året 1762.
Designet tilskrives arkitekten Antonio Ramos, som efter José de Bada's død i 1756 fortsætter med de arbejder, han udførte til katedralen.
