Det britiske museums læsesal, som ligger i centrum af den store gård i Det Britiske Museum, var engang den primære læsesal i Det Britiske Bibliotek. I 1997 blev denne funktion flyttet til den nye bygning af Det Britiske Bibliotek på St Pancras i London, men læsesalen forbliver i sin oprindelige form i Det Britiske Museum.
Designet af Sydney Smirke og åbnet i 1857, var læsesalen i konstant brug indtil dens midlertidige lukning for renovering i 1997. Den blev genåbnet i 2000, og fra 2007 til 2014 blev den brugt til at præsentere midlertidige udstillinger. Den har siden været lukket, mens dens fremtidige brug forbliver under diskussion.
