Llanbryn-mair er en landsby og det omkringliggende område i det walisiske amt Powys, på A470 vejen mellem Caersws og Machynlleth. Området omkring Llanbryn-mair er det næststørste i amtet; i 2005 havde det en befolkning på 958 personer.
Fællesskabet inkluderer flere små landsbyer: Talerddig, Dolfach, Tafolwern, Pandy, Bont Dolgadfan, Cringoed, Pennant, Wern-Gerhynt, Tafolog og Dylife. Det historiske centrum ligger i Llan, på vejen til Llanidloes, med en lille landsbykirke dedikeret til Sankt Maria. Den nuværende centrum af byen, ved krydset mellem A470 og B4518 i Llanidloes, blev hovedstaden i kommunen takket være den nye betalingsvej fra 1821 og ankomsten af tog i 1861. Cambrian Line krydser stadig byen, men stationen blev nedlagt i 1965 som en del af omfattende nedlæggelser forårsaget af Beeching-rapporten.
