Doonagore Slot er et rundt tårnhus fra det 16. århundrede med et lille muret indhegning beliggende ca. 1 km over Doolin. Dets navn kan betyde "fortet ved de runde bakker" eller "fortet ved gedderne"; det ligger på en bakke med udsigt over Doolin Point og, sammen med en nærliggende høj radio mast, bruges som et navigationspunkt af både, der nærmer sig Doolin Pier. Doonagore Slot er i øjeblikket et privat feriehus, som er utilgængeligt for offentligheden.
