Doonagore Castle ist ein runder Wohnturm aus dem 16. Jahrhundert mit einer kleinen ummauerten Anlage, die etwa 1 km oberhalb von Doolin liegt. Sein Name könnte "die Festung der gerundeten Hügel" oder "die Festung der Ziegen" bedeuten; es thront auf einem Hügel mit Blick auf Doolin Point und wird zusammen mit einem nahegelegenen höheren Funkmast von Booten, die sich dem Doolin Pier nähern, als Navigationspunkt genutzt. Das Doonagore Castle ist gegenwärtig ein privates Ferienhaus, das der Öffentlichkeit nicht zugänglich ist.
