Landsbyen ligger langs vejen, der forbinder S. Anatolia med Piedipaterno, i en højde af 334 m over havets overflade. Den ligger cirka 15 km fra Spoleto og cirka 30 km fra Norcia.
Fra 1926 til 1968 blev Castel San Felice betjent af jernbanelinjen Spoleto-Norcia, en smalsporsbane, der forbandt Spoleto med Norcia, som var i brug fra 1. november 1926 til 31. juli 1968, hvorefter den blev nedlagt. Skinnerne fra jernbanelinjen er næsten alle bevarede, og tracéet er omdannet til en cykelsti.
