Het dorp ligt langs de weg die S. Anatolia verbindt met Piedipaterno, op een hoogte van 334 m boven zeeniveau. Het ligt op ongeveer 15 km van Spoleto en ongeveer 30 km van Norcia.
Van 1926 tot 1968 werd Castel San Felice bediend door de spoorlijn Spoleto-Norcia, een smalspoor dat Spoleto met Norcia verbond, die van 1 november 1926 tot 31 juli 1968 in gebruik was, toen werd deze stopgezet. De sporen van de spoorlijn zijn bijna allemaal bewaard gebleven, het tracé is omgevormd tot een fietspad.
