L'habitat se situe le long de la route qui relie S. Anatolia à Piedipaterno, à une altitude de 334 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer. Il se trouve à environ 15 km de Spoleto et à environ 30 km de Norcia.
De 1926 à 1968, Castel San Felice était desservi par la ligne de chemin de fer Spoleto-Norcia, une ligne à écartement réduit qui reliait Spoleto à Norcia, qui est restée en service du 1er novembre 1926 au 31 juillet 1968, date à laquelle elle a été supprimée. Les traces de la ligne de chemin de fer sont presque toutes conservées, le tracé a été converti en piste cyclable.
