De Laak er et vandløb i Azewijn, en kirke landsby i kommunen Montferland. Det menes at være et rester af en af bifloderne til Rhinen, der tidligere løb her. De Laak er kendt, fordi heksen Mechteld ten Ham i 1605 blev kastet i vandet for at bevise, at hun var en heks. Hun flød på sine brede nederdele, hvilket blev anset som bevis. Hun blev derefter brændt på bålet i 's-Heerenberg.
