Kranenburg er en landsby i kommunen Bronckhorst på vejen mellem Vorden og Ruurlo i den hollandske provins Gelderland. Kranenburg hører til Achterhoek og har lidt over 200 indbyggere.
Indtil slutningen af middelalderen var dette område af Achterhoek en sumpet region. Man søgte de højere beliggende tørre områder for at bosætte sig. Disse bosættelser blev ofte navngivet efter dyrearter, der levede på disse 'bjerge'. På en bakke lidt syd for det nuværende Kranenburg ynglede whooping cranes. Af den grund blev gården, der blev grundlagt her, også kaldt 'De Kranenbarg'.
