Gein er en lille flod på cirka 6 km i længden mellem Driemond og Abcoude. Den forbinder Gaasp og Smal Weesp med Angstel og løber vest for Amsterdam-Rijnkanalen helt inden for grænserne af Abcoude, siden 1. januar 2011 en del af kommunen De Ronde Venen. Indtil 1. august 1966 lå den østlige del, forbi Velterslaan, dog i den tidligere kommune Weesperkarspel og fra 1966-1989 i kommunen Amsterdam. Den del, der ligger inden for Abcoude op til Angstel, kaldes, fordi den der er meget smal, Nauwe Gein, hvor broen Nauwe Gein forbinder Kirketorvet med Hoogstraat.
