Vandretårnet i Laren er designet af arkitekt Wouter Hamdorff på opdrag af Provincialt Vandværk Nord-Holland og blev bygget i 1931-1933. Ifølge byggeopgaven var det meningen, at vandretårnet også skulle fungere som udsigtstårn.
Tårnet er placeret ved Rijksvej Vest og er lavet af beton og beklædt med mundklinker. Vandretårnet har en højde på 35,65 meter og to vandreservoirer på hver 500 m³.
