Der Wasserturm in Laren wurde im Auftrag des Provinciaal Waterleidingbedrijf Noord-Holland von dem Architekten Wouter Hamdorff entworfen und in den Jahren 1931-1933 erbaut. Laut dem Bauauftrag war es vorgesehen, dass der Wasserturm auch als Aussichtsturm dienen sollte.
Der Turm befindet sich an der Rijksweg West und ist aus Beton gefertigt und mit Mönchsteinen verkleidet. Der Wasserturm hat eine Höhe von 35,65 Metern und zwei Wasserreservoirs mit jeweils 500 m³.
