I forbindelse med byggeriet af den HSL-Zuid og tilslutningen til Breda, er stationen i Breda blevet tilpasset. Der er opført en moderne offentlig transport terminal, designet af Koen van Velsen. Udover de 3 ø-perroner til togene er der et ø-perron til busserne, som er tilgængeligt gennem den centrale tunnel (Gravinnen van Nassau Boulevard). Især i stationshallen mod Belcrum-siden findes der forskellige butikker og spisesteder.
