Im Rahmen des Baus der HSL-Zuid und der Anbindung von Breda daran wurde der Bahnhof Breda angepasst. Es entstand ein moderner Öffentlicher Verkehrsterminal, entworfen von Koen van Velsen. Neben den 3 Inselbahnsteigen für die Züge befindet sich ein Inselbahnsteig für die Busse, der über den zentralen Tunnel (Gravinnen van Nassau Boulevard) zugänglich ist. Insbesondere in der Bahnhofshalle auf der Belcrum-Seite befinden sich verschiedene Geschäfte und Gastronomiebetriebe.
