En el marco de la construcción de la HSL-Zuid y la conexión de Breda a ella, se ha adaptado la estación de Breda. Se ha construido una moderna terminal de transporte público, diseñada por Koen van Velsen. Junto a los 3 andenes isleños para los trenes, hay un andén isleño para los autobuses que es accesible a través del túnel central (Gravinnen van Nassau Boulevard). En particular, en el vestíbulo de la estación del lado de Belcrum se encuentran diversas tiendas y lugares de comida y bebida.
