Nel contesto della costruzione della HSL-Zuid e del collegamento con Breda, la stazione di Breda è stata modificata. È stata realizzata una moderna Terminal dei Trasporti Pubblici, progettata da Koen van Velsen. Oltre ai 3 binari centrali per i treni, c'è un binario centrale per gli autobus, accessibile tramite il tunnel centrale (Gravinnen van Nassau Boulevard). Nella hall della stazione, in particolare dal lato di Belcrum, si trovano diversi negozi e locali di ristorazione.
