As part of the construction of the HSL-Zuid and the connection of Breda to it, Breda station has been adapted. A modern public transport terminal has been built, designed by Koen van Velsen. Next to the 3 island platforms for the trains, there is an island platform for the buses which is accessible via the central tunnel (Gravinnen van Nassau Boulevard). In the station hall on the Belcrum side, in particular, there are various shops and restaurants.
Public transport bicycles can also be rented here in the guarded bicycle shed. See link for more information.
