Møllen De Welvaart blev bygget i 1864 på opdrag af Joseph Aerts. Det er en slank, opretstående kornmølle.
Efter at have skiftet ejerskab flere gange, blev møllearbejder Leo Linssen ejer af møllen i 1929.
Han gennemførte et stort antal forbedringer. Således købte Linssen en elektrisk drevet maleskive for at kunne kompensere for vindstille perioder.
