Loppem ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Westflandern. Das Dorf ist seit 1977 ein Teilgemeinde von Zedelgem.
Eine alte Erwähnung des Namens Lophem findet man bereits in einer Urkunde aus dem Jahr 1108. Im Oktober 1918, während der Befreiung nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg, ließ sich König Albert I. auf dem Schloss von Loppem nieder. Am 21. November 1918 gründete er „die Regierung von Loppem“, die erste Regierung, in der Sozialisten, Liberale und Katholiken gemeinsam saßen. Während der Achtzehntägigen Feldzug war auch König Leopold III. im Weißen Schloss.
