Dieser Militärfriedhof am Rand des Houthulster Waldes entstand nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg. Die 1.723 belgischen Gräber stammen aus Feldgräbern und kleineren Friedhöfen aus der Umgebung. Die meisten Soldaten fielen am 28. oder 29. September 1918 während der Offensive zum Ende des Krieges. Auf diesem Friedhof findest du auch 81 italienische Gräber. Diese italienischen Soldaten waren deutsche Kriegsgefangene. Dieser belgische Militärfriedhof ist der zweitgrößte und hat einen sechszackigen Stern als Grundriss.
