Über die Stadtbrauerei De Koninck gelangen wir zur Victor Jacobslei mit dem schönen Seniorenwohnzentrum Sint-Maria. Dort überqueren wir die Singel über die Fahrrad- und Fußgängerbrücke. Unten an der Treppe gelangen wir in die Wolvenberg. Dieses Naturschutzgebiet liegt auf den Überresten der früheren Stadtmauer und ist das einzige, das sich in der Innenstadt befindet. Obwohl das Reservat nicht wirklich groß ist, ist es ein wichtiger Ort für die Biodiversität. Es hat eine Mischung aus Wäldern, Wiesen und einem Weidenglas, wo Wasserpflanzen und Amphibien zuhause sind. Sogar Greifvögel wie der Habicht und der Baumfalke nisten hier. Das Gebiet ist auf jeden Fall einen Spaziergang wert. Am Ende kommen wir wieder an unserem Ausgangspunkt an: Bahnhof Antwerpen-Berchem.
