Diese Straße ist nach Jean de Bohème benannt. Im Jahr 1331 machte Johann von Böhmen, Graf von Luxemburg und König von Böhmen, Durbuy zu einer Stadt, indem er Mauern errichtete , um es in einer Enklave von 2 Hektar einzuschließen, daher der Titel „kleinste Stadt der Welt“!

Bevor Rinder und Pferde in den Stall oder auf die Weide gebracht werden konnten, musste die Herde mehrmals täglich zu einer Tränke gebracht werden. In Dörfern, die zu weit von einem Fluss oder Teich entfernt waren, mussten die Tiere ihren Durst an Wassertrögen (die von der nächsten Quelle gespeist wurden) stillen.
