Diese symbolisiert die militärische Hierarchie, mit unten den Soldaten, die die Schläge abbekommen, und an der Spitze den Militärführern, die unversehrt davonkommen. Dieses Kunstwerk ist sehr passend für einen Krieg, in dem junge Männer mit einem einfachen Pfiff aus den Schützengräben gejagt wurden, einem sicheren Tod entgegen. Ein Werk, das zum Innehalten anregt.
