Hill 60 ist ein authentisches Gebiet aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg. Der künstliche Hügel aus dem Jahr 1850 lag etwa 60 Meter hoch. In der Zeit von 14-18 wurde hier heftig zwischen den Deutschen und den Alliierten gekämpft, mit wechselndem Erfolg. Beide Seiten gruben ab 1915 Tunnel unter dem Hügel, in denen Minen zur Explosion gebracht wurden. Die Explosion der Tiefenminen am 7. Juni 1917 führte zur heutigen Landschaft von Hill 60. Viele Soldaten sind noch immer unter diesem Hügel begraben.
