Das Marie-Curie-Gymnasium in Wittenberge wurde 1895 gegründet und ist Mitglied im MINT-EC. Es ist in zwei Gebäuden untergebracht, welche beide Baudenkmale sind.
Das Gymnasium wurde am 24. Januar 1895 als höhere Privat-Knabenschule gegründet. Am 20. April 1900 konnte das für 100.000 Mark in gut einjähriger Bauzeit errichtete Realschulgebäude in der Sandfurttrift bezogen werden. Man verzichtete zunächst aus Kostengründen auf den Bau einer Turnhalle und einiger Klassenräume. Diese wurden erst 1913 ergänzt. In jenem Jahr wurde die Schule auch als vollwertiges Reformrealgymnasium anerkannt.
