Der Hügel von Mousson - ein geschichtsträchtiges Panorama
Die gesamte Anlage, die heute eine Ruine ist, steht unter Denkmalschutz. Diese Klassifizierung umfasst auch die Kapelle der Templer, die in der Nähe errichtet wurde. Der Gipfel des Butte de Mousson ist eine halbnatürliche Motte, die größtenteils von den Überresten der Festungsmauer umgeben ist.
Noch heute sind Teile der Mauer des Bergfrieds, der auch "La Grosse Tour" genannt wird, zu sehen. Von hier aus bietet sich ein außergewöhnliches Panorama über das Moseltal, das Land des Saulnois und die Stadt Metz.
