De Butte de Monson - een panorama vol geschiedenis
De hele site, die nu een ruïne is, staat op de lijst van historische monumenten. Op deze lijst staat ook de kapel van de Tempeliers die in de buurt is gebouwd. De top van de Butte de Mousson, een voormalige residentie van de hertogen van Bar en een strategisch bolwerk sinds de Romeinse tijd, is een halfnatuurlijke heuvel, grotendeels omringd door de overblijfselen van de versterkte omheining.
Delen van de muren van de donjon, bekend als "La Grosse Tour", kunnen nog steeds worden bewonderd. De site biedt een uitzonderlijk panoramisch uitzicht op de Moezelvallei, de Saulnois-streek en de stad Metz.
