Wenn Sie in Hettange-Grande ankommen, dominiert die auf einem Felsen errichtete Kirche Saint Etienne das Dorf und lädt Sie dazu ein, sie zu entdecken. Die Kirche wurde auf den Überresten einer mittelalterlichen Burg errichtet, von der nur noch ein Brunnen und ein Turm erhalten sind. Ihr Glockenturm folgt nicht der allgemeinen Ausrichtung der Kirche und verleiht ihr daher ein erstaunliches Aussehen. In der Kirche befinden sich die Glasfenster von Jean Barillet, die in einem figurativen, aber stilisierten Stil gestaltet sind. Zu ihren Füßen fließt die Kissel, ein Bach, der sich durch die Stadt schlängelt.
