Es wurde 1840 offiziell anerkannt und hatte vor dem Bau und der Einweihung dieses Gebäudes im Mai 1859 keinen festgelegten Versammlungsort.
Dieser Tempel ist das Werk von zwei trojanischen Architekten, Boulanger und Garrel, die eine Imitation der romanischen Kunst wollten.
Das aus Stein, Ziegel und Schiefer errichtete Gebäude hat den Grundriss eines langen Platzes und wird auf jeder Seite von vier schmalen, halbkreisförmigen Fenstern durchbrochen. Über dem Eingang befindet sich ein Turm, der von einer Spitze gekrönt und von vier Glockentürmen flankiert wird.
Das Innere, ein großer Raum von einer gewissen Strenge und ohne jegliche Dekoration, entspricht dem spirituellen Konzept der protestantischen Religion.
