Das 6 km von Remiremont entfernte Dorf Saint-Amé verdankt seinen Namen dem kolumbianischen Mönch Saint Amé, der zusammen mit Saint Romaric im Jahr 620 das Kloster Saint-Mont gründete. Dieses Kloster, die Wiege der späteren Abtei von Remiremont, soll auf einem alten gallo-römischen Oppidum errichtet worden sein. Mit einer Höhe von 675 m bietet der Saint-Mont einen einzigartigen Blick auf Remiremont und seine Täler.
Die Gemeinde ist von zahlreichen Wanderwegen durchzogen, die zum Wald von Fossard führen, und umfasst einen barrierefreien Pfad mit dem Gütesiegel "Tourismus und Behinderung" in der Nähe des Étang du Miroir sowie eine Angelstrecke mit Gütesiegel an der Cleurie.
